Common questions

Pricing, Straight Up

Money questions, answered plainly, no fine print.

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

$65 comes off the total price of your first job with us, whether it's a small tap repair or a bigger emergency callout. It applies whether you book online or over the phone, with no fine print attached.

How does your upfront fixed pricing work?

We look at the job on site and agree one set price before we start. That set price is exactly what appears on the invoice once we're done, with no adjustments for the time of day or how long the job takes.

Is the quote really free?

Yes. There's no charge to have us assess the job and give you a fixed price, and the call-out itself is always $0.

What payment options do you offer?

We take standard payment on the day the job's completed. What's agreed upfront is exactly what you pay, nothing added afterward.

Common questions

The Legal Stuff, Made Simple

Licensing and responsibility, in plain English.

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

A few basic first steps are safe: find the water meter and turn it off, or get outside if you can smell gas. Anything beyond that, especially gas work, needs a licensed plumber under NSW law.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We're licensed plumbers and gas fitters under Lic #465156C, fully insured, and that licence is searchable at verify.licence.nsw.gov.au.

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

If our workmanship is the reason something fails again, we come back and fix it. It covers the labour on every job we complete, not just a limited window after we leave.

Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?

Yes. Gas work is carried out by our licensed gas fitters specifically, under the same Lic #465156C, and it's never treated as a job a general plumber can just take on.

Common questions

When We Can Come

Response and booking, without the guesswork.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

A burst pipe, an overflowing toilet, no hot water, or any hint of gas are the ones that can't wait. A slow drip or a minor drainage issue can usually wait for a booked visit instead.

What happens after I call?

We take down what's happened, talk you through any safety steps, and get a licensed plumber moving your way, same day where we can. You get a confirmed cost before any work begins.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes. We're on call 24/7, including weekends and public holidays, and a real person answers the phone rather than a machine.

How fast can you get here?

We aim to have a plumber dispatched the same day, workload permitting, as soon as we've got the details. Exact timing depends on where the job sits on our current run.

Common questions

Local Answers for Carlingford

A few local questions homeowners ask most.

Why do Carlingford's older homes get plumbing emergencies?

Carlingford grew up during the post-war decades on former orchard land, and the hot water systems and clay drainage installed back then are reaching the end of their working lives. That combination is behind plenty of our local callouts.

How local are you, really?

Carlingford is our home turf, not a suburb we cover from a distance. Carlingford station, now the terminus of the Parramatta Light Rail L4 after it replaced the old heavy-rail line in 2024, sits close to where we're working most weeks.

What suburbs do you service around Carlingford?

Our regular run covers Beecroft, Epping, Dundas Valley, North Rocks and Oatlands, alongside Carlingford itself. If you're nearby and unsure, call and we'll confirm straight away.

Do you cover the suburbs next to Carlingford?

Yes, we're on call for the streets around Carlingford Bowling Club and the old railway strip just as much as Carlingford itself. That matters most once summer storm season starts surcharging the local stormwater drains, and the same fixed pricing applies wherever you are.
